Perfect for a writers' retreat or a family & friends getaway is this 5-night stay at the comfy Cackalacky Cabin, located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Beech Mountain, North Carolina. Pets welcome!
The cabin is just a half mile from Beech Mountain Ski Resort. The Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking, waterfalls, river tubing, wineries, caverns, and Watauga Lake are all within easy drives. The cabin has 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, and sleeps up to 8 people. Main floor has 2 queen bedrooms with a jack-and-jill bath. Loft has one twin bed and one full-sized bed. Basement bedroom has a king-sized bed and is a separate space with its own entrance, sitting area, full bath with shower stall, and washer/dryer. Roku TVs throughout. Porch swing, rocking chairs, and chaise lounges on deck. The cabin also has a picnic table and fire pit for outdoor fun.
Prize offered for dates up to October 1, 2023. Blackout dates Dec. 20, 2022 - January 3, 2023. Availability subject to prior rental agreement, however we rent on a limited basis so lots of great dates are available! The closest airports are Asheville (two-hour drive away) and Charlotte (two and a half hours away).
