The Triangle Critique Group is a safe space to learn more about your craft and help others on a monthly basis. Below are the broad guidelines for the Triangle group:

Critique group meets monthly
  • Current group run by Pamela meets every 2nd Saturday from 11am - 12:30PM
Submission details
  • Submission of Word manuscripts no later than 10 days before the meeting to the organizer
  • A limit of 10 pages, double-spaced for submissions
  • Any genre can be submitted, not just mystery
  • You can ask for specific feedback (help with characters or pacing feedback, for example) or ask for a general overview - include that specific request with the submission
  • THIS IS NOT A BETA GROUP – entire manuscripts are not accepted
Feedback rules
  • Think like a reader, not a critic - the goal is to be helpful and actionable, not craft a story YOU want to write or be unnecessarily harsh or cruel
